Congressman Randy Fine Delivers Historic Wins for Florida's Sixth Congressional District During August

Washington, DC – Congressman Randy Fine met with over 1,000 constituents, law enforcement officers, small business owners, and local officials during the nearly 100 events he held during the August district work period while Congress was in recess.

During that time, Congressman Fine announced several new milestone initiatives benefiting his constituents. He helped overcome months of bureaucratic delays to release $9 million to restore Flagler beaches damaged by Hurricane Milton. Additionally, he secured $1 million to support equine rehabilitation centers that aid children and veterans. Congressman Fine also secured several grants, including $95,309 to modernize Palatka Municipal Airport and nearly $2 million for Stetson University to enhance student education and improve job prospects after graduation. In just five months in Congress, Congressman Fine has helped secure nearly $20 million in appropriations for the district.

“This was by far my favorite month in office because I got to spend it with the people,” said Congressman Fine. “I received actionable feedback from the home front that will help me fight for families in District 6 and will ensure our district receives what it needs from funds already budgeted by the federal government. These funds support core infrastructure projects that people need and have an impact on their daily lives.”

During nearly 100 district engagements last month, Congressman Fine discussed his work with residents and local officials. He highlighted how the Working Families Tax Cut passed in July is keeping money in the pockets of everyday Americans by ending taxes on tips, cutting wasteful spending, making our country safer, supporting small businesses, and boosting the economy.

Congressman Fine is committed to tirelessly addressing the needs of Florida’s Sixth Congressional District on Capitol Hill.
