Belleview, FL – The Office of Congressman Randy Fine is pleased to announce the opening of the second of five new district offices, enhancing accessibility for constituents across Florida’s 6th Congressional District. This new office will be opening today in Belleview, Florida, in Marion County.

“I want to especially thank Police Chief Terry Holland for making it possible for us to use space at the Belleview Police Department to establish our office.  As Florida’s Horse Capital amidst a region filled with natural wonders, from rolling pastures to crystal-clear springs, Marion County is a unique place, not just in my district, but in the entire world. It’s a place built on the principles of dedication, unity, and honesty, and I’m honored to fight for those values here – and in Washington,” said Congressman Fine.

Mayor Christine Dobkowski shared her excitement, “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Congressman Randy Fine and his office to the City of Belleview, right here at our police department. His decision to establish a Congressional office in our community demonstrates his commitment to being accessible and responsive to the needs of Marion County residents. This office will be an invaluable resource for our residents, and I look forward to our partnership together.” 

Marion County Commissioner Matt McClain stated,“Having a Congressional office located right here in Belleview is a major win for Marion County. I see this as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between local and federal partners. Having direct access to Congressional resources will support our ongoing efforts to expand infrastructure, create jobs, and serve our most vulnerable residents. I applaud Congressman Fine for his commitment to being present and accessible to the people of Marion County.”

County Commissioner Michelle Stone joined in with the praise, saying “It’s a tremendous honor to have Congressman Randy Fine establish his Congressional office here in Belleview. This move underscores his dedication to embedding himself in our community and addressing the unique needs of Marion County. The presence of his office will enhance our ability to collaborate on critical initiatives, and I’m eager to see the positive impact this partnership will bring. There is no better man for the job to represent our district.”

Constituent services are a cornerstone of Congressman Fine’s mission. The new district offices will provide a range of services, including but not limited to:

• Assistance with Federal Agencies: Resolving issues or obtaining information from federal entities.
• Social Security and Medicare Support: Addressing stalled claims and answering questions about benefits.
• Service Academy Nominations: Nominating exceptional young men and women for prestigious military academies.
• Federal Grants Guidance: Helping local businesses access available funding opportunities.
• Legislative Engagement: Sharing constituent opinions on upcoming legislation and providing information on federal policies and regulations.
• Washington, D.C. Tours: Arranging visits to the Capitol, White House, and other landmarks.

Yesterday, Congressman Fine announced the opening of his first office in Putnam County, the first-even Congressional District office to be established there.   His final three office locations will follow shortly in Lake, Volusia, and Flagler Counties. Congressman Fine’s goal is to ensure that no constituent has to drive more than 30 minutes to access Congressional services. 

The Marion County Office will be staffed by Pratima Strong, the Congressman’s Constituent Service Representative.
