Congressman Randy Fine Opens First of Five Local Offices to Serve Florida’s 6th Congressional District

May 28, 2025

Palatka, FL – The Office of Congressman Randy Fine is pleased to announce the opening of the first of five new district offices, enhancing accessibility for constituents across Florida’s 6th Congressional District. This first new office will be opening today in the government complex in Palatka, Florida.

“The people of Putnam County have welcomed me with open arms, and I am thrilled to have an office open to serve them. Putnam County is one of Florida’s proud rural counties, and the small town values you find there are what built America. Whether in Palatka – or in Washington – I will work every day to keep these values alive and thriving,” said Congressman Fine.

County Commission Chairwoman Leota Wilkinson stated, “It says a lot about Randy's commitment to Putnam County that he isn't just opening what we believe is our first-ever Congressional Office, but he is opening ours first. We are so excited and looking forward to him being an active member of our community in the months and years ahead!”

Constituent services are a cornerstone of Congressman Fine’s mission. The new district offices will provide a range of services, including but not limited to:

  • Assistance with Federal Agencies: Resolving issues or obtaining information from federal entities.
  • Social Security and Medicare Support: Addressing stalled claims and answering questions about benefits.
  • Service Academy Nominations: Nominating exceptional young men and women for prestigious military academies.
  • Federal Grants Guidance: Helping local businesses access available funding opportunities.
  • Legislative Engagement: Sharing constituent opinions on upcoming legislation and providing information on federal policies and regulations.
  • Washington, D.C. Tours: Arranging visits to the Capitol, White House, and other landmarks.

Office locations will follow shortly in Marion, Lake, Volusia, and Flagler Counties. Congressman Fine’s goal is to ensure that no constituent has to drive more than 30 minutes to access  Congressional services. The Congressman is grateful to the Putnam County Commissioners and other county officials who worked hard to make this possible for their residents.

“Putnam County is a special place and our people deserve first class service from their representatives. Having the Congressman’s office here will ensure that,” said County Commissioner and local GOP Chairman Larry Harvey.
Fellow County Commissioner Josh Alexander added, “By opening an office in Palatka and hiring local staff, Randy has proven his commitment to our hometown. This validates my support and provides an open line of communication to Washington.”

The office will be staffed full time by Putnam local Gina Sims, the Congressman’s Deputy Regional Director.

The address and contact information for the Palatka Office is as follows:
