Congressman Fine Appointed to House Committee on Foreign Affairs
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Randy Fine (FL-06) has been appointed by the House Republican Conference to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, solidifying his rising influence on Capitol Hill and marking a significant expansion of his national security and international policy portfolio.
“It is an extraordinary honor to join the House Foreign Affairs Committee under the bold leadership of true American Hero, Chairman Brian Mast, a fellow Floridian and fierce advocate for American strength,” said Congressman Fine. “With more than two decades of international business experience across nearly every continent, I bring a unique, real-world perspective to the global challenges our country faces. In this new role, I’m ready to advance President Trump’s America First vision to defend our allies, confront our enemies, and ensure that U.S. foreign policy puts American interests first.”
“Randy is a battle-tested conservative and a fierce defender of America’s interests. The Foreign Affairs Committee is stronger with him on board. Proud to welcome my fellow Floridian to the fight,” said Chairman Mast (FL-21).
Nicknamed the “Hebrew Hammer” for his tenacious leadership style and unwavering defense of conservative principles, Congressman Fine’s appointment underscores the Republican Conference’s commitment to unapologetically strong foreign policy in an increasingly volatile world. Congressman Fine is one of a small handful of Jewish Republicans.
The House Committee on Foreign Affairs is responsible for guiding the nation’s approach to diplomacy and global security. Its jurisdiction includes oversight of foreign aid, international agreements, war powers, arms control, and the deployment of U.S. forces abroad.
Congressman Fine continues to serve on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, where he plays a key role on the Subcommittees on Higher Education and Workforce Development, Workforce Protections, and Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions.
